What’s new at Busch Gardens Williamsburg in 2019?

Blasting off in May 2019 is Finnegan’s Flyer, an extreme swing ride overlooking the water in the Ireland section of the park. Guests will take in the sights at over 80 feet in the air—but don’t think it’s a walk in the park. This thrill ride will blow your hair back, reaching speeds of up to 45 mph! Book your tickets now to be first in line—maybe you’ll even catch us out there on opening day!

What’s new at Water Country in 2019?

Busch Gardens isn’t the only park with new thrill rides to explore though. Water Country USA is launching Cutback Water Coaster, a new RocketBLAST thrill ride, opening Spring 2019. This is Virginia’s FIRST water coaster, and it looks to be a doozy! Guests will slip and slide down 850 feet of tube, with razor-sharp turns and drops designed to give even the bravest of riders a jolt!

What’s Battle for Eire Like?

And in case you missed its opening last year, you’re definitely going to want to check out Battle for Eire, Busch Gardens Williamsburg’s first VR simulator ride! From the moment you strap on your specially designed VR headset, you’ll find yourself transported to the realm of the fairies, The Otherworld. You’ll fight the evil Dark Lord, Balor, side by side with the fairy guardian Addie. If you’ve never tried Virtual Reality before, you’re in for a real treat—it’s an experience like nothing else you’ve ever tried before! This ride is perfect for kids and adults alike.
